Anyone used the luer-lock version from United Pharma (no needle)? Any suggestions/comments? We're about to try a few of the samples and I'd like to be able to share information from others' experience with this product.
Thank you,

Just spent a few weeks researching and rewriting our inpatient Therapuetic Phlebotomy P/P
For years we used glass thoracentesis bottles for our collections
At spring INS in Nashville the subject was presented and the vendor listed below was the product of choice
Individually packaged bags with no additive so there is a 5 year shelf life
A luer end so that any size needle can be used--[Other products had a fixed 17g needle]
There is no side port and the Rep had a great suggestion to add a Y or T connector
so that if the donation becomes sluggish you can irrigate the needle with NS flush
A case of 20 bags are $190 + shipping
