I would like to hear from anyone whose practice involves administration of IVIG, particularly in the home care setting. What is your policy, if you in fact have one,  regarding the administration of the first dose at home. Your comment will be greatly appreciated.
We require 2 doses be given in the Hospital, AIC or some other facility it is the first time. If the pt is changing brands we require one dose to be given in the above settings before the pt goes to home care
