Our PICC team documents the length of cath. inserted and the length exposed. Our physicians that insert subclavian/jugular CL do not always document insertion length and our nurses do not document length exposed of these devices.
Determining length of exposed central lines was common practice when I worked crtical care. What is best practice for determining migration of these catheters?
