radial artery catheters

I would like to know if there are any RN Vascular Access Teams placing radial artery catheters. I know of some Respiratory-based teams that are placing them, but have not heard about any RN Teams. I could not find any position papers from any organizations, either. Does anyone have a written procedure using ultrasound guidance for arterial catheter placement?

Arterial lines

I just recently got approval to place arterial lines as well as non-tunneled Central venous access devices (CVADs).  I am still being mentored by or surgeons and PA's.  I've placed 8 CVAD's and 1 Art line.  I wrote a Standard Procedure which took a few months to get through the layers of approval processes.  I would be happy to share if you'd like a copy.  My e-mail is [email protected]
