I noticed in the new INS polices and procedure manual that with the blood draw from a central line procedure, the recommended volume of flush is 10 mls. Has this changed? I have read in several sources that 20 mls is appropriate.

Either is acceptable. There is no research to support one volume over the other. Lynn
