This subject may have come up previously. I am the educator for Infusion services department at our facility and am aware of the INS standard 48 that supports the back priming of infusion sets. However, I am looking for evidence based materials for the back priming of secondary administration sets for infusion of different infusates using the same tubing.  Can anyone havedirect me to  information that will help?  I haven't had much luck in my search.   Thanks, Eileen RN CRNI
