Our dialysis center has a procedure where they soak the plastic dead end caps on the end of the dialysis catheter with Betadine. They do not allow the Betadine to dry when the cap is being placed or removed. These caps have cracked and have almost been like "glued" onto the catheter hub. This has been a long standing practice and I was wondering what others are doing.
